
- Practice Experience:
Amy practices law exclusively in the field of intellectual property, including litigation and prosecution matters, with a specific concentration in the areas of semiconductor, automation, electrical circuit, computer software and networks, telecommunications, e-commerce before the Patent Reexamination Board (PRB), and the Court.
With extensive experience in patent prosecution and litigation, Amy has served as a trial counsel in many patent invalidation proceedings and lawsuits, representing a lot of well-known enterprises. She successfully applied “prior use” evidence to test the validity of a game patent which was the first time in China. Her opinion in the super multidimensional optoelectronic display case (ZL201010229920.2) was approved by the panel of the PRB, and the case was selected by the PRB as one of ten 2015 typical patent invalidation cases. In addition, she achieved a high success rate in the invalidation and litigation related to the computer protocol, surveillance, medical circuit, and 2G/3G SEP patents. She started her patent profession since 2002. Amy Zhang was awarded as Chinese 1-star to 5-star Outstanding Patent Attorney in 2012 – 2016 respectively.
